One of my current fantasies is that a lot of these kinds of cars coming out lately, the AMG One, the AMB R003 , the Jesko , the mid-engine corvette, are all being prepped for a new street-based homologation hypercar endurance racing class. Wouldn’t that be awesome.

And not entirely unrealistic either, since that’s exactly what the SCG 007 is.

003 is GT. The 007 is being built for LMP1, allegedly .

Pretty cool, but why the sillin ess with the center seat and two additional passengers?
It’s been done, it’s not practical. Do a center-drive single seat car if you want, but don’t make it impossible to get in/out of the car.
These will likely be driven very rarely anyway , but even more so if the owner has to look like an ass getting in and out.

I think this car snuck over from an alternate timeline where McLaren didn’t do a deal with Mercedes and Gordon Murray got to make an F1 Mk.II.
Maybe I’m burned out on hypercars, or just tired this morning, or have unrealistic expectations of Mr. Murray, but I’m not as excited as I probably should be for this.
(I had a much longer response that I shitcanned becuase I think that sums it up).
